The reason people stay In a bad situation is because they fear falling into a worse situation. The grass is always greener on the other side, but if the grass is brown, why lose the grass you have. It is especially hard to move on from a familiar situation when you have doubts, but risks must be taken to make it anywhere. Most people are creatures of habit, they go about their day drinking the same coffee and doing the same rituals, there is nothing wrong with that, but what happens when something beyond their control disrupts their schedule. Is anyone really ready for the total derailment of their mundane lives? Is there even a way to actually prepare yourself for life’s inevitable changes? Or do we just have to adapt as they come. I think it is best to life your life in a manner that is new daily, try to change up your activities or meals, and don’t get caught doing the same thing too often. I know unexpected change is uncomfortable, but since change will happen anyway why not control as much of it as you can. I like to see certain change like any other obstacle, if you are correctly prepared for it, you can overcome it.
